Qualifying Methodology:
No purchase is necessary to enter to win. Subject to the limitations below, beginning December 26, 2011 Q108/WCVQ will conduct the “Q Wedding Giveaway” contest. Starting on December 26, 2011 and continuing until Sunday, January 15, 2012, at 11:59 pm central time, listeners are encouraged to enter the “Q Wedding Giveaway” contest by submitting a photo featuring the bride and groom to be, and an essay explaining why they should win the grand prize. Photos and essays can be submitted by logging on to our website at www.Q108.com. On Monday, January 16, 2012, 12:00 am central time, the voting period will begin and listeners will be instructed to visit the website to cast their vote for the essay and photo they like best. Each person can only vote once per day. On Sunday January 29, 2012 at 11:59 pm central time, the voting period will end. All entrees will then be ranked by their vote total and the top five will become contest finalists. The photos and essays from the top five finalists will be given to a panel of, no less than six, judges. The judges will read and rank the essays and photos based on creativity, the emotional response each story invokes, and the need of the contestants. The entries will be ranked from one to five by each individual judge and a point system will be used. Each entree will receive 10 points for first, 8 points for second, 6 points for third, 4 points for fourth, and 2 points for fifth. After adding all the points, the entree with the most points will win the grand prize. in case of a tie, the winner will be drawn from a random drawing from all tied contestants. The decision of the judges is final. The winner will be announced on Friday, February 3rd during the morning show with Ryan & Gretchen in the morning.

The winner will be notified by a representative of Q108. Each contestant can only win once for the duration of the contest. You must be 18 to submit a photo and essay.

This contest is open to Tennessee and Kentucky Residents who hold a valid form of photo identification, and are 18 years of age or older at time of contest play, with the exception of employees of Q108/WCVQ, the above sponsors, advertising agencies, affiliates, employees of other radio stations, and members of their immediate families.

Only one entree is permitted per household and one entree per family is permitted for the duration of this contest. The term “family” includes spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren and co-habitating significant others.

Q108/WCVQ reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if these contest rules have been violated in any way.

By entering, each participant agrees that his or her voice, name, photograph, caricature and/or likeness may be used by Q108/WCVQ for promotional purposes. All qualifiers agree to provide Q108/WCVQ their name, address, phone number and social security number. Failure to supply required information makes contestant ineligible. This will ONLY be used for processing necessary information as it pertains to prizes. Prize winners agree to waive any claim of royalty, right of further remuneration for any such promotional use and agree not to appear on, or on behalf of, any other radio or television station for a period of six (6) months after acceptance of prize.

Prize retail value (1099 value) maximum equals: US $8,399.00 retail.

Winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If WCVQ-FM cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.

WCVQ-FM reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

WCVQ-FM reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the affiliate's' office.

Employees of WCVQ-FM, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.

Entrants further grant to WCVQ-FM the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

WCVQ-FM reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

UPICKEM and WCVQ-FM are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
